Letters should be no longer than 250 words and may be edited for length. The Times Colonist will also consider opinion articles of up to 800 words. Include the writer's address and daytime phone number (although these won't be published) and a first name or two initials. Writers are limited to one published letter or opinion article every 30 days. The Times Colonist won't publish anonymous letters, or letters to third parties.
